There is no denying that a vast majority of style bloggers (myself included), stylists, photographers, designers, artists, etc. all over the world draw inspiration from the masterwork of Scott Schumann- photographer and curator of The Sartorialist. It was only a matter of time until the man behind the camera and his craft would be documented and presented for the world to see.

Directed by Tyler Manson for the Intel® Visual Life campaign, this short film offers us a glimpse in a day in the life of Scott Schumann as he explores the streets of New York City, casually discussing what inspires him and how his craft fits into the greater scheme of things as the world rapidly evolves into infinite interconnectedness.

What moves me the most about Scott Schumann is his unfaltering commitment to what he does best, which ultimately leads to the continuous success of his blog, The Sartorialist and the ever-increasing popularity of street style as a global reference for both fashion and culture. 

He is, without a doubt, an inspiration for Uit de Deur.
